Additionally, vitamin D3 is added to the Calcium Chew chewable tablets and the Calcium Vital tablets, which enhances calcium absorption in your bones. The required amount of calcium depends on your surgery. According to the international guidelines of scientific associations (ASMBS and IFSO), we recommend taking a minimum of 1,200 - 1,500 mg of calcium per day. Calcium is not included in Elan's WLS products, as calcium inhibits iron absorption.

Important

If you also use the Calcium Vital tablets or the Calcium Chew chewable tablets, do not take them at the same time as the Believe capsule, Believe tablet, or Ferro Vital tablet. There should be at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital tablet or the Calcium Chew chewable tablet and your Believe capsule, Believe tablet, or Ferro Vital tablet to give your body enough time to absorb the iron properly.
