Ferro Vital tablets

Iron is an important mineral for your body because iron helps release energy from other nutrients. This important mineral is found in red meat, chicken, bread and nuts. After your weight loss surgery, you may eat less of this, which is why you may need to supplement your diet with extra iron. Ferro Vital tablets have been developed for this purpose. We have also added extra copper to these, because copper ensures the transport of iron through your body.

Description: Food supplement
Food supplements are no substitute for a varied and balanced diet. The recommended daily allowance of iron is exceeded in this dietary supplement. 

Ingredients: Minerals (Ferrous fumerate and copper citrate), filler (E460, E341), glazing agent (E464, E422, E553b, E903). The product contains no added lactose, gluten, flavourings or fragrances.

Elan's Ferro Vital tablets are halal certified. 

Storage advice: Store below 25°C and in a dry place. Keep out of reach and sight of young children. This dietary supplement is not suitable for children under 10 years of age. 

Recommended dose: Take 1 Ferro Vital iron tablet every day, preferably before or during the evening meal. Do not exceed the maximum recommended dose. Only on the indication of your practitioner can the dosage be increased.

Important: if you also use Elan's Calcium Vital swallow tablets or Calcium Chew chew tablets, take these at a different time from your Ferro Vital swallow tablet. There should be at least 2 hours between taking the Calcium Vital swallow tablet or Calcium Chew chew tablet and your Ferro Vital swallow tablet, so that your body has enough time to absorb the iron properly.
